Hello everyone!
I will be on a hiatus for a few weeks! I'm moving to Texas so I'm tying up all my loose ends here and working AND packing....so many things to do with so little time! I'll see you in a few!

31 Day Reset Challenge: FINAL REFLECTION
I probably should've done this the day after I completed the challenge, but it was Labor Day weekend! My final thoughts, well, final reflection, on this challenge is....it was a great challenge that I think everyone should take part in!
I thought I knew myself pretty well, but this challenge really asks the right questions to make you think about your life and what direction it's heading in or where you want it to head in. I was successfully able to complete a majority of the challenges. Some of them, like no TV for 24 hours or take yourself out on a date, couldn't be completed due to traveling or work obligations. However, I do plan to try them out soon! I think I'll be forced to if certain things work out in the next few weeks....stay tuned for that announcement!
The one exercise that really spoke to me was, Conduct an Honest Self-Assessment. I didn't go in-depth about it on my blog but in my journal I let it all hang loose. I am pretty honest with myself but for that challenge I had to be completely honest which was scary because sometimes you don't want to admit certain things to yourself.
I recommend this challenge to anyone and everyone because it truly is a CHALLENGE, but it can and does lead to wonderful things in your life. Trust me, you won't regret it. It takes time and commitment, but if you can push through it you'll be thankful that you did!

31 Day Reset Challenge Day 30
Write Your Own Eulogy
Well this isn't all that creepy to me because I had to write one for a journalism class in college....so let's just get to it!
Well this isn't all that creepy to me because I had to write one for a journalism class in college....so let's just get to it!
Naomi was a kind and loving person. She made it her mission
in life to uplift anyone that she met and help them reach their fullest
potential. Friends knew her as funny and easy going but her family and close
friends knew her as fiercely protective over the ones she loved.
She went to USF and majored in journalism, writing was always
her passion. After a slow start in the business she eventually found her niche:
international reporting. Naomi traveled everywhere from the age of 15 up until
her death. She traveled during high school, college and frequently throughout
her career.
Though her home base was Atlanta, Naomi felt like her home
was anywhere in the world that her family was. Her husband, who also has a job
that requires travel, made it a point to have their four kids travel wherever
they went. Unorthodox, but it worked for them.
Naomi was lucky that her interest in travel could translate
into a career. She was able to use her easy going nonjudgmental and easy to
relate to personality to interact with anyone and everyone.
Her legacy will forever be remembered as the friend, wife,
mother and sister who simply wanted what’s best for those she cared for. We
will always miss her, but we will keep her memory, her laugh, her crazy Kansan
self in our hearts forever.

31 Day Reset Challenge Day 29
Make a Bucket List
I'm sharing with you my condensed bucket list! Here's what I would do if I only had six months left to live:
1. Travel with my family
2. Learn to swim
3. Ride an elephant in Africa
4. Go ziplining
5. Eat as much cake as possible.
6. Finish reading all the books on my bookshelf
7. Stay at a five star hotel and order an obnoxious amount of room service
8. Go on a cruise
9. Eat caviar (I know I'm vegetarian...get off my back)
10.Get enough frequent flyer miles to travel and stay anywhere for free and give them to someone.
Seriously with six months left to live this is all that I'd want to do...travel, read and spend time with family! What are some things on your bucket list?

31 Day Reset Challenge Day 28
Let Go of Your Past
Today's challenge is to let go of something from the past. Any fights, breakups, bad childhood memories....anything that still continuously has a hold on you and how you operate in your daily life.
First you have to acknowledge whatever bad thing occurred (it can be a list). Then you write it down as an affirmation. Example: We had an awful breakup but I thank you for letting me go because I was able to achieve so many wonderful things afterwards. I am grateful, happy and free. The last part to this challenge is to get rid of it. Destroy the list. Burn it! Let it go!
I've accepted the things that have happened in my past. I've dealt with those things and accepted it and let it go. They've shaped me into the person I am today and have given me room to have better and stronger friendships and be secure with the man I'm with.
They no longer have power over me and I'm free....and it feels good.

31 Day Reset Challenge Day 27
Revive Your Love Life
M. and I have only been dating for a little while (we're still in the beginning stages) so I don't think we need to do anything to "revive" our love life! However, now that we are long distance, I do have a few tricks up my sleeve! Sweet "thinking of you" gestures go a LONG way ladies. :-)
